Restorative Yoga Teacher Training

This training is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of both the nervous system and the subtle energy body, focusing on their roles in facilitating relaxation and enhancing the effectiveness of Restorative Yoga. The course emphasizes the integration of physiological and energetic principles to create a balanced and therapeutic environment for yoga practice.

The training covers the following key components:

1. Restorative Yoga Techniques:

The course teaches the practical application of restorative poses, which are used to foster balance, nurture inner calm, and restore core energy. Emphasis is placed on using verbal cues, adjusting props, and employing the practitioner’s voice to deepen the effects of the poses.

2. Nervous System and Subtle Energy Body:

Participants will gain knowledge of how the nervous system influences physical and emotional states, and how the subtle energy body, often conceptualized as the aura or energetic field, contributes to overall well-being. This understanding is applied to support relaxation and the restorative benefits of yoga.

3. Energetic Sensitivity and Adjustment:

Trainees will develop skills to assess the energetic field of their students. This includes the ability to sense, perceive, and evaluate physical or energetic misalignments that may arise during practice. Techniques for making appropriate adjustments, both physical and energetic, will be taught to help optimize student health and well-being.

4. Application and Customization:

Upon completion, participants will be equipped with the skills to design and implement customized Restorative Yoga practices. This includes tailoring practices to meet individual needs, both for themselves and for others, by adjusting postures, props, and verbal cues to suit the specific requirements of the practitioner’s body and energy field.
